I recently tried to relocate my "Downloads" and "Documents" folder from my C: drive to a folder on my new G: drive. I accidently moved them directly to my main G: folder. Now my Documents and Downloads folder is my main G: folder.

I tried to "set deafult location" in Properties but I Could not do that because I don't have permission to move "System Volume Information" that is located on my G: drive PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Thanks for the help. I got the "Documents" folder back to its deafult location, But not the "Downloads" folder because the "Downloads" folder Is the "Documents" folder so when I move the "Downloads" folder it automatically moves the "Documents" folder with it.

Sorry for the confusion

I tried to do this, the only problem is that there's no Downloads folder in the Documents folder because they're the same folder.

That is why i said to make two folders somewhere else that isn't in that spot. if you put it RIGHT on the G Drive then put the two folders on a different drive, then move everything your self, THEN change the location to those folders. Then go back to that drive where you want them, make folders, and point them there.
