I have an Asus A78M-E with FM2+ socket with An Apu installed in it i was planing to replace the apu to an athlon quad core cpu instead but can i still use the display connectors that comes with the motherboard even without the apu ? i dont really know too much about the apu system so is it just a boost for the intgrated gpu that comes with the motherboard or its the gpu ? thanks.
The integrated graphics is on the APU itself. If you do not have an APU, you won't have a display. The motherboard does not have integrated graphics on it. You would need a dedicated graphic card with an athlon cpu on the FM2+ platform
