A laptop I received runs on a very oddly modified version of windows 7 Looking at one of the labels it says "Windows 7 Pro Natl Academic Only OA".
The problem with this is the only accessible user account is on complete lock-down. Almost no settings but the printer are actually changeable. It also has some kind of white-list that filters out most websites besides google. Usually I would solve this with command prompt, but when I open it "Command prompt is blocked by the system administrator". Control panel is locked, I can't even view the system properties.
So I tried re-installing the OS, but the boot menu is password locked and since I can't see system properties I'm unaware of the cpu architecture.
Anyone know a work-around to create an admin account or how I can actually manage to install a fresh copy of windows on here
