I recently purchased an anti-static wrist band, one with a plug to connect to a mains socket.
I was just wondering if the socket that the wrist band is connected to needs to be off or on? Or, does it not really matter?
I usually turn it off, but didn't today, and was wondering if a) I just wasn't grounded, or b) that was really stupid and could cause serious damage.
