I have that same cpu mobo, using Mushkin Redline 1866 1.5 v CL9 ram.
If I remember correctly the cpu/chipset only supports up to 1866 ram, so that ram may not run at 2400. Double check the mobo manual in case I am brainfarting here . As in the ram would work perfectly fine, but you wouldn't be able to have a bios option for 2400.
If that was the case, you would likely be able to run it at 1866 with much tighter timings, (CL9 at least), and get just as much performance as CL10 at 2400.

The manual has the G.Skill Ram listed 1st, however I thank you for your response. The mobo or CPU hasn't shipped yet, so, I haven't committed to any specific RAM. I do need them to be a low profile because of my Coolermaster V8 GTS CPU cooler.

Part of the GSkill model number is missing, so not sure of the actual model, but most all of their stick will work with the GTS V8, if it's the Trident X DRAM may want tio remove the upper fin for the stick in slot one, that's what I did with the Tridents and my GTS V8 on my Z97. With the 8350 and 2400 it all depends on how strong your individual CPU and it's MC is. I run a full 32GB load of 2400 with my 8370 on my Crossfire

With the 8350 and the Sabertooth, depending on the pricing, 2133 might be better cost wise, if not Tridents, might look at the Ripjaws X over the Z model, or the GSkill Snipers. I wrote an article on 2400 sets and AMD that might help, here:

Thank you for your response. I clicked your link and read your article. Very informative, although I will have to read it at least one more time to glean all the useful information you presented. I can see I have more research to do. Right now, the Trident sounds best if only because of the removable heat fins. Thaks again
