Tell me if these are parts I should use for a gaming pc.

yeah that is pretty decent although i would go with an fx 6350 or an i3 4160, make sure to put it together on pcpartpicker.

I would also get an r9 280x instead of a gtx 960.

Good build, but can you please add an SSD. No matter how cheap but add it.
