Hi guys. I bought a wireless usb adapter in japan last week (Elecom WDC-433-SU2M) it's 802.11ac and 5ghz. But when I configure my router's (TP-link ac750 archer c2) region setting and I select my current country, (Philippines) the network would not show for me. But when I tried other countries, (united States, Japan, Singapore) it worked for me. The problem is, whenever I play games while connected to a different country, I get very high and inconsistent ping. I'm currently using a 2.4ghz 802.11n adapter that i bought here and it's working fine. Anyone has a clue on this? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Not really. That is often set in the BIOS, and other times it is stored in the registry, or even just a driver.

For someone that clearly has hardware from the asian region and the USA, it would be best if you picked one region to buy from, and only buy from that region. It is unfortunate that companies feel the need to do this, but it is a reality in today's world.

Thank you for the answer sir. Any suggestions on how I can change everything to my current region? Any examples of what I need to change? Thanks again
