So my middle mouse button click has stopped working. Its happened off and on for the last year, but normally resumed functioning after a day or two. It's been four days this time.
During this time, I tried to reinstall my mouse drivers, to no avail. I even used USB Deview to remove all drivers linked to mice and Razer. But nope....
The scroll function works, and I feel the tactile "click". Using Razer Synapse I've tried to diagnose the problem by rebinding the middle-mouse button click function to other functions (e.g. left windows key, right-click, tab). But that also doesn't work (as in pressing the middle-mouse button doesn't lead to the new response).
So what's my best bet? Warranty has expired, and this is becoming an issue, as I tend to play a lot of games which need the middle-mouse button (melee, or turning the camera in games where I can't rebind or its awkward to do so). Is there a guide on opening up this mouse, and "fixing" it, if it is actually a hardware problem?
