How to clean install w8.1 64 bit on the laptop running w7 32 bit ..?

Note that my laptop is 64 bit capable and i have the w8.1 64 bit in the disc.

Just put the disk in and follow the instructions that come up.

If I were you, I would make a factory recovery disc of your current operating system before doing a clean install of windows 8. Just in case something goes wrong. To create a recovery disc, type in recovery in Start menu. Usually it will say Create Factory recovery disc or something similar.

Yes, when the disk has been inserted, a box will come up asking you what you want to do. Select the Autostart or Autorun option. Then it will guide you thrpugh the setup process.

If you have trouble doing clean install, during the setup pick custom installation and it should let you do clean install

Note that if your processor is not capable of a 64-bit OS, you will run into problems later on

Just make sure its compatible with your cpu and pop the disk in and enter setup.
