Okey so I have a few years old power supply called Silver Power SP - SS850 850W

Operating System
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz 58 °C

Yes, you certainly do. When you invest that much in getting a GTX 980 Ti, it's better to get a reputed PSU rather than relying on already aged worn out PSU.

Update:

Silver Power SP - SS850 850W PSU is really capable of powering the GTX 980 Ti, as it can deliver a mammoth 70Amps on its +12V rail and has all the required PCI-E connectors.

But the only concern is that its old, used for few years, so its efficacy may have deteriorated. So if have that feeling, its better to get a new PSU.

The GTX 980 Ti only require a quality 600W PSU that can deliver 38Amps on its +12V rail and has at least 1 x 6-pin, 1 x 8-pin PCI-E connectors.
