Compare the cost of the refurb PSU to the value of the parts in the computer. Is it worth it to save $50.00 on a refurb PSU for a pc worth $750-1000 or more? Probably not. The PSU can take components with it if it pops. A good power supply is likely the most important piece of kit in the system.

A refurb has already failed one time, sent in for repairs, I would never buy a refurb.
Take the RM that lasted 2 Weeks they probably just replaced the failed part and never look at other parts that could of lead to the part failing.
