Hi all. I wanted to seek the assistance of the most knowledgeable PC community I know in helping me find the very best build possible for a $1200-1400 budget. The case will be one of the In Win mini towers, and it must have an i7 to take advantage of the upcoming windows 10 direct x 12 stuff. Moreover a very good single GPU (probably one of the new 980Ti's) will be required for the build.

In short, please build the very best performance system you can think of in the budget range provided above, and if you know of one, a recommendation for the very best 2k-1440 gsync monitor would be appreciated (monitor not included in the budget provided).

Thank you all in advanced for all your help :).

I chose the Xeon, it's the same as an i7, but without the integrated graphics, you wont be using them anyway. For the rest, a 980 ti, 8GB of RAM and a 650W tier one modular PSU will give you a best gaming rig.

Good luck with your build.

That case might not be able to contain the 980 Ti, according to pcpartpicker. Make sure it's possible!

Rafa has suggested something really nice, I went overbudget to include things you wanted and a motherboard with WiFi, an SSD.

you won't see a difference in performance except maybe the SSD.

Both are very nice systems and exactly what I would want. How would I go about confirming that the case can or cannot fit the 980ti?

perfect, and may I ask what the best performing SSD's are these days, I might have to increase the budget just a bit to get a 256SSD that has the very best performance possible.

Is there an Asus or MSI equivalent for this motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard?

Thanks again bsod. I take your link to mean that all of these are equivalent or better and will fit in the
Inwin 901 Mini ITX Tower Case?

Yep, these contain both H97 and Z97 chips. The options for H97 is limited. You might as well get the Z97 instead.

These are Mini ITX cases and the Inwin 901 is a Mini ITX cases. In theory, yes, they should fit the case.

Ok, great. I'll sift through these and see If I can find one with SLI support and WiFi included. I was originally looking at the:
Asus - Crosshair V Formula-Z ATX Motherboard 2400MHz (Socket AM3+) - Multi

but its a bit pricey and to big for the case I believe (but i'm not positive). If I can find one like this but smaller with the same features, it would be great. I also get a really good deal if I purchase the components from Best Buy so the more parts I can get through them the better.
