Do I need a sound card for my pc build? And will my Headset be supported?

Solution
Your motherboard has built-in audio chip:

So no need for a separate audiocard. It is compatible with your headset, it has analog connections on the backplate, it also has a front panel connection on the motherboard.

Hey bootcher! Thanks for the solution it was very helpful. But I changed my mind and instead I am getting the EVGA Z97 FTW ATX LGA1150 Motherboard. Do you know if I still need a sound card for my pc build now? and will my Razer Kraken Pro headset still be compatible?

Hello! In general ALL motherboards nowadays have a built-in audiochip, and come with the necessary connectors for 3.5mm headphones. So yes, your EVGA motherboard also has a soundcard already builtin, no need for an audiocard. Also your headphone will work just fine with it, it has analog connectors on the backplate, and it has a front panel audio connector.
