Cant get the ROOT ACCESS. Any fixes?

Hey guys. I'm using Redmi 1s and i've installed CM12 on my mobile. I went to developer options and turned on ROOT for APPS AND ADB. I then installed ROOT CHECK and it showed me that the root isn't properly installed. Any fixes for this. I want to install my old rom. Any fixes would be helpful. Thanks

Well I would download a root checker app to test from another source. If you still do not have root access, try any number of superuser apps. Hopefully that will get you somewhere

That doesn't work. I want to go back to my miui and now i can't flash the rom due to the ROOT ACCESS. Hope anyone helps me outta here
