corrupt bios after downgrading win 8

I have a hp655 that we attempted to downgrade from win8 to wi. 7. It seemex to work fine but the next boot up. Screen stayed black... I cannot get any menus to pull up followi g various directions even crom the hp site. Any suggestions?

Windows and the BIOS are two different things and if you didn't flash a BIOS, then doing anything with Windows would have no effect at all on the BIOS.
