Briefing: My Gaming PC worked flawlessly before 3 days ago. Just 3 days ago I was playing a game (Dragonball Xenoverse) and all of a sudden after about 5 minutes of gameplay I started noticing some stuttering and lagging. I turned it off and realized my whole PC was super slow. It speeds back up after about 10 minutes of being out of the game.

I turned it off and came back the next day and tried it again. I was playing Bioshock Infinite smoothly for about 5-10 minutes then my PC began to lag and stutter and then it became unplayable. I did some research and found that it is probably a hardware issue, but I'm not sure what to do to pinpoint the problem.

I updated my drivers, defragged, cleaned registry, ran CCleaner, all of that. Still occurring, which is why I have chose to look at the hardware, but any suggestions are welcome!

Specifications:
Processor: Intel i7-4820k
GPU: EVGA nVidia GeForce GTX 780
RAM: 32GB RAM
Storage: 2TB HDD
PSU: HMW XG-H800

History of problems: Only ever had one problem, which was my motherboard failing. Got it replaced and all was well after. This was over a year ago.

Thank you in advance.

Yeah holy shit, anything over 80C is dangerous for the CPU, it sounds like your CPU fan/heatsink is dead/not connected right. This is definitely a heat issue, and could be due to the thermal paste drying out if your CPU fan/heatsink is still running.

Tell me your case model and i'll try and find a few CPU fans for you, and if your fan is still working, get new thermal paste...
Sounds like heat issues, what do you temps look like during gaming?

Although, it "could" also be your PSU dying on you, because i'm pretty sure you bought a garbage tier PSU. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
You have an XtremeGear model XG-H800, which is manufactured by HAPPY MULTI-WEALTH TECHNOLOGIES, none of those are good signs.

A thread with another mention of your PSU:

Thanks for the incredibly quick answer, I'll check the temps now.

If the temps check out, how can I tell if it is the PSU, I have been told before that my PSU sucks, but I wanna be sure.

You probably lack the equipment to test it, it's pretty expensive and requires a lot of expert knowledge to use as well. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/ht/power-supply-test-multimeter.htm
But the people with the equipment test alot of PSUs, and there are a great deal of problems that can be attributed to them, as your computer can't run without good power, and the power comes from the PSU. They're also one of the cheaper things to fix.

The tier list has all the good brands listed in it, so you can safely choose from any in tier 3 and above.

Sorry if I seem like a novice, but I'm not really sure what good values are for the HWMonitor stats.

It says all my cores on my processor when not running a game are running at 93 degree Celsius. Then for the GPU the temperature is 33 degrees Celsius.
When running a game, the cores run at 95 degrees Celsius, but the GPU rises to 46 degrees Celsius...

are both fairly equally good.
