Hi, I recently got into overclocking my FX-8350 to get the most of my system... I got it at 4.4GHz stable with 1.425v on the GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 using the Cooler Master 212 EVO (45.3-51 celcius full load)
But, during all my testings with Prime95, it always said:
"Optimizing for CPU architecture: AMD Bulldozer..."
So, at first I thought that my CPU had the Bulldozer architecture and there was nothing more to it. But then, during all my researches of how to overclock with my motherboard and the FX-8350, I found out that this CPU is supposed to use the Piledriver architecture.
So,I would like to know if this is normal, if my CPU does have Bulldozer architecture or if it's a faulty reading of Prime95 and if it's the case, will the optimization of Prime95 for this architecture decrease the stress tests performances?
Thanks for reading, all answers are welcome.
