Am I right in thinking that I can control 4 pin PWM and 3 pin DC fans on an Asus Z97 Pro?

In other words, can I control 3 pin fans front and top and rear using DC control but also control the CPU using PWM? In short, can a mixture of PWM and DC voltage fans be speed controlled at the same time?

Hi

I still don't have my PSU. I'm not going to build until that comes.

If I have 4 x regular (3 pin) 140mm fans front and top (1000rpm) and 1 x regular (3 pin) 140mm fan on the rear and the stock PWM fan that comes with the EVO 212 CPU cooler.. just to confirm I can use the fan control software that comes with my Asus Z97 Pro wifi board?

And the 3 pin headers can just fit onto the 4 pin fan headers?

And what kind of rpm control should be obtainable? Anyone?
