How do i add a second controller to my pc> Xbox 360 controller.

I bought a xbox 360 wireless controller and it has the plug and play w a rechargeable battery. I can plug it wired our unplug it so its wireless. i also have a normal wired xbox 360 controller that needs to be plugged it. When i start a game the wired on works but the battery pack doesny. Do i need a seperate driver for it? I cant find a definet answer and they dont work. Thanks for the time

The wireless controller operates only wirelessly - the cable that came with the charging kit is only for charging the controller's battery, not data transmission. The Xbox One controllers may work both ways, but not 360 controllers. Either get a new wired controller or a wireless controller adapter for Xbox 360 controllers
