Fresh install of windows 8 now freezes at random

I recently reinstalled windows 8 because of a problem with my PC, and now it freezes at random times. It doesn't shut off or anything, just freezes until I manually turn it off. I originally thought it was an issue with air flow, but core temp displays a temperature of around 30 to 40 degrees C right before it freezes. I have read online that not enough RAM for the system can cause freezing, but my RAM usage has been consistently under 60%. Also, with this last freeze, the program that I was in lost network connection right before it happens. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem will be much appreciated.

System specs:
CPU is an AMD FX 4100 Quad-Core running at 3.6 GHz
GPU is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti
System has 8GB RAM
Running Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit
PSU is a Coolermaster 750W

Just looked at the Event Viewer after yet another crash, and it says that a critical error has happened once in the last hour, and 6 times in the last 24... I think that may be the issue. The error ID is 41, the source is Kernel-Power, and the log is System. The same looking thing is also under the regular "error" tab as Kernel-EventTracing, but that has occurred only once in the past 24 hours, and 0 times in the past hour. The only errors that have happened in the past hour are the Bonjour Service (ID 100), the DeviceSetupManager (ID 131), the Dhcp-Client (ID 1001), and the EventLog (ID 6008). Do you have any idea what this means? It seems like the important one is Kernel-Power, but I have no idea what that means nor how to fix it. Thanks again for all the help you are lending!
