Hi, I am working on picking parts for a new build and this is what I came up with for what I am willing to spend. Is there anything that i could do better for the same cost? That build is about the max I want to spend.

I am hoping to salvage what I can off my current desktop, also I'm from Canada.

Thanks!

EDIT: Also, Is it possible just to change out the motherboard/GPU and OC the FX6300 and have a good experience for a lot less?

Solution
I'm on a fence here. The R9 380 performs a little better than the GTX 960 but uses a lot more power, but neither can match a GTX 970 or R9 390. Your call.
Your best move might be to get a powerful GPU now and wait till later this year to upgrade the CPU and motherboard when Intel releases the new Skylake CPU's. A GTX 970 would be a very good upgrade for you now. The rest of your system should do fine for a while longer.

Do you think something like a R9 380 4GB or the 960 4GB would work well? I was thinking 2gb really wont be enough v ram moving forward but I think the 970 might be more than I need.
