I've put together my new build, the USB 3.1 ports, front USB and USB 2.0 ports beneath the Ethernet port all function normally. The other two side by side USB 2.0 rear IO ports don't work. No response from USB stick plugged into any of the. If I try and boot with something plugged into these I get the error "USB Device Over Current Status Detected... etc"

I have carefully removed the board to ensure nothing is shorting out.

Hi Miles. Could you check the back of your power supply? Is there a red (or other coloured) switch that sets the voltage input? If so, what figure does it show and does this match your country's power rating (the UK it's 230V, 50Hz).

If this checks out okay, try resetting the CMOS, the guide on how to do this for your motherboard is available here: http://gyazo.com/9ee9accddb85646878f638925244937a

Let me know how this goes and whether it helps or not.
