I am currently building a new RIG and having issues getting it to boot. I am getting a green LED light by the battery. (yes i replaced the battery) Talked with Asus support and they are saying i need a 8 pin cpu connection and my 2 4-pin together could be my problem. From all the pictures and reading online, 2 4-pin or 1 8-pin have the same inputs (4 grounds and 4 +12V DC) So is this true or is Asus just avoiding a warranty claim. I wrote the specs below.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes I did bench it prior troubleshooting with Asus support. Also when I put the two 4-pins together the square and rounded off square pins did not match up with the mobo pins but the PSU only let u connect the two 4 pins one way and even flipping them it still didnt match up...... So why would Asus suggest this prior to me sending it in for repair? Why make me go buy a new PSU? Kinda annoying the fact that they would suggest something that will make no difference.
