Hey guys, here's my system info first:

Intel i7 3930K
eVGA GTX 970
16GB RAM
Windows 7x64
Driver Version 353.30

So I'm getting these completely random GPU driver crashes and I'm not sure why. Sometimes during gameplay. Sometimes at idle on my desktop. Sometimes after rendering videos in Camtasia/Premiere. The screen will go black for a second or 2 then come back with the error message saying that the driver crashed and has recovered.

My temps seem to be fine (Always under 75c), at least that's what GPU Meter is telling me, so I'm not sure what's causing this if not heat.

Any ideas?

Solution
Try using nvidia hot fix driver version 353.38. It is not available on geforce.com but you can google about it. Right now i'm still using the latest WHQL from nvidia but i just install the core driver and physx driver. Seems fine so far although i rarely playing games on my pc as of late.

Just for more info as well, I do use MSI Afterburn for a fan profile and that's it. No overclocking settings were messed with inside of that program.

Just happened again twice back to back after writing the first part of this message. 41c. 0% usage.
