Closing MSI Afterburner and fan speed stays at custom profile

Hello,

When I play GPU intensive games I usually set my fan speed to around 70% in MSI Afterburner to help it stay cool as the auto setting does not do exactly what I want. But, when I close Afterburner, I was expecting the settings to reset to the GPU defaults, but the fan stays at 70%. Does this happen for everyone? I could not find any type of setting to reset the settings to the GPU default when I close Afterburner.

Thanks,
Greg

MSI Afterburner is always running, even after you close it. Hence how you can overclock with it.
I recommend creating one profile for gaming that you use, obviously when gaming. Then when you are done, switch to a second profile that is back to normal.
Or simply click auto before you close it.
