Computer restarts, useless Windows error recovery

Computer shuts down while using it, but cpu light doesnt turn off but monitor light turns off. Sometimes it automatically reboots and shows windows error recovery , after selecting start windows normally it boots up normally but the same problem repeats. Safe mode freezes in a command mode like screen. I had windows 7 , i installed windows 8 , but the same problem persists. Please help me ASAP

your CPU might be over heating. is this a new build you just did? or did you take off the Heatsink and reinstall it without changing thermal past?

or have you not changed the Thermal past in over 2 years.

Motherboard and Processor is new, maximum 2 months old. So thermal paste changing is not required right?

no but you might of put the thermal past wrong and it's causing it to over heat. Download this http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html CLick on the Setup*english on the middle left of the page. and when you open it up tell me what your temps are. Also could you tell me what type of motherboard you have So i can see if it has a debugger on it.
