i upgraded my asus s550c to windows 10 and since i was not very technical, it was a nightmare. i finally made it work and have only been using this laptop again after a long while, when i noticed that i only have one drive. drive c. i was expecting 2 drives because i remember partitioning my disk. i opened disk management and saw the unallocated disk space 280+ GB that i can not use. aside from that i noticed that i have 2 recovery partitions, drive c, and a system reserved. i read somewhere that the maximum partitions one can have is 4. now i dont know that to do and i need your help badly. i cant extend volume c btw.

What do you see in Disk Management when you right click on the unallocated space? Are there any options? Technically you only have one drive with two partitions. Leave drive c: and the system reserved partitions alone. Are the recovery partitions labeled? If yes, are they simply called "recovery" or is there something more specific? I only ask because you could consider getting rid of one of the recovery partitions. However I suggest you only do this if you have the drive cloned or a disk image with an exact copy of what you currently have. A backup is critical.
