GTX 660(non ti) how long will it last

just wondering i have a gtx 660 and wondering how many years it will last.
I plan to play on medium and higher setting at 1080p how long would this card last at these settings?

If youare looking for a timeframe, that is difficult to say. The hardware should be as strong as long as you arent constantly forcing hungry programs on it. Most graphics cards will last 4 or 5 years with no problems. If you are referring to how long it will still be able to play games, that is another story. Every year new games come out with more stringent settings that stress earlier architectures.

Those settings are fine as long as you can play the game at your comfort level.

Well the card currently can do about medium settings on most games at 1080p so I'd say it still has some life left for medium/1080p gaming, no telling how long that statement will be valid although I'd say a 660/7870 type of card is pretty much the baseline for 1080p gaming as of this moment.
