I just got the asrock z97 pro4 motherboard and my Haswell i5 4670k processor and being the complete noob I am, bent some pins in the socket. I understand I'll probably have to buy another motherboard but I really want to try to fix this one first. I tried using a magnifying glass and a needle but no matter how close I looked I couldn't get a good view of the pins. I'm about 75% sure all the pins are there even though it looks like a couple are missing. I think they're just bent away from view. I just can't r wall Yb see what's going on well enough to fix them.

Yeah I know my dad is an it guy and he's been building computers for clients for a long time but for some reason he has no experience with this, so he's no help. I just can't see where the pins are to bend them back

Have you tried a very bright light and looking at the board almost horizontally?
