Afternoon all.

So lately I have been having issues with my HDMI slot on my graphics card and the HDMI slot no longer works properly. Back when I first built my computer one of my friends built it for me. But one of my other friends that is great with computers told me that my computer set-up was terrible and my friend did it wrong. Well here I am 2 years later with the build and my HDMI slot no longer works. So my question is, should I start upgrading pieces in this machine or should I sell it and build another PC? If you recommend upgrading, then I am looking to spend around $300 on an upgrade piece or 2, $350 max (may be willing to go a little over). If I should build one, than I should have about $800-$900 to spend on parts. I use the machine for gaming of course, and am looking to hold 4 Ben Q monitors.

Current Build:
CPU: AMD FX-6200 Zambezi 6-Core
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 7790 2GB
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda HHD 1TB
Power Supply: Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus - 700W Power Supply
Case: GMP CM HAF 912 STD ATX CASE
Wireless Adapter: ENCORE ENEWI-2XN45 Wireless N300 Adapter

Solution
If going new can reuse the case, PSU, DRAM, HD, Wireless....... with budget might look at a 4690K, Asus Z97-A, Hyper 212 EVO cooler and the rest into a GPU
