Hi everyone. I'm building a new gaming PC and I wanted to ask if this set up is ok. My budget is something around £400 and this is what I ended up with:

Cpu: AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad-Core 3.7GHz 4MB Socket FM2+ 95W Desktop Processor
Gpu: Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card with Boost
Mobo: Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2 Motherboard (Socket FM2+, A68H, DDR3, Micro ATX, PCI Express 3.0)
Case: Zalman T3 Mini M-ATX/M-ITX Tower Case
Ram: HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module Kit - White
Psu: EVGA 500W PC Power Supply
Hard Drive: Crucial BX100 250 GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal Solid State Drive

So before I finalize my choices and start ordering the pieces I want to make sure everything is ok and compatibile etc :p im open for suggestions as long as its in the same price range (or around). Thank you for your time ^.^

For the same price (around £80), I'd suggest getting a 1TB hard drive and a 120GB SSD instead. If you are building a gaming PC, you'll need some storage and 250GB could run out pretty quick. You can fit a few games and the OS on the 120GB SSD.

Speaking of which, have you got your OS sorted already?

Hi thanks for the reply. I already have windows 7 for the OS. About the hard drive I don't think I need as much as 1TB. So far I've had a 250 GB one and I never even came close to filling it up. I'm more interested if the PC with the current set up would run well, if the motherboard is alright for the cpu I chose etc.
