Is it ok to have an intel IGPU enabled while a dedicated amd GPU is enabled?

If this is a LAPTOP then by design, to not overheat and eat up battery life, when your NOT doing 3Dish things (Gaming for example) it sits with the onboard, when you go and start a GAME for example then it autoswitchs in the background and your running on the GPU.

If this is a desktop, but design once you plug in the GPU the iGPU is disabled normally. If both are running, it isn't a BEST PRACTICE, and better to go into BIOS and set the video to either disable or ensure it is set to 'Default =' VGA/PCie card not iGPU. We really just don't want to confuse Windows on 'which' one it is supposed to be talking to all the time.
