I think the R5 is a better case personally ;3

The themis will not perform as good as the ACX cooler :3

The Gigabyte board is nice but I wouldn't take it over the krait if you were running b/w theme.

G.Skill RAM is great but yet again theme,

Seagate have a bad fail rate which is where the budget changes here. Seagate aren't anywhere near as reliable as WD especially the black range and the PSU isn't as good as the Seasonic version or Seasonic PSU I have suggested ;3. Though that PSU could be used to shave some dollar off of my build as the only bad thing Jonny Guru had to say about it really was 'I was hoping for a little better hot box voltage regulation'

Overall our builds are well matched and a cross of the 2 would be the ugly build in budget. What would I change to my build:

The PSU could be changed to save $30-40 and also the Phanteks cooler at the $49 pricepoint is better than the EVGA ACX cooler.

That seagate failure rate you get from? Have you seen that yourself?

If wanting a WD black could he for about the same money get a 1tb instead of the seagate 2tb and still have that 500gb ssd which i would prefer.

For a psu is it a good choice looking at price/performance here. There are other options for less than your choice like the evga G2 750watt,but that will differ per day.

Yeah, I've built around 20 PC's I'd say. between them I have used seagate and WD dependent on what people prefer. The WD Cavier blue is a better choice for a cheaper drive!

A couple of the Seagate's have come back to me failed... Not working at all, None the less though if you want evidence of this.

As said Hitatchi are the best HDD's closely followed by WD. WD is the best in my opinion though, their customer service is great.

Your own experience is more important to me than a artikel where a company that delivers online back up uses consumer grade hdd's in their servers.

The main purpose of me going for the cheaper hdd was getting that 500gb ssd in and with a 1tb WD black would that be an option too.
