So I have bought all my components, including a PSU, Motherboard, CPU, Graphics Card and RAM. The only thing I haven't bought is a case for I am building this PC into my desk. Will the PSU come with all the necessary wires I need for the computer to work? If not where I can I buy any wires I should need for the computer to run.

Solution
If it's a modular PSU, all the cables are supplied with it in separate packaging.

If it's a traditional, non-modular PSU, all the cables are permanently attached to it.

Both types will have all the cables you need to connect all the vital components required to get any PC up and running.

Should there be insufficient power connectors for extra hardware (eg extra drives) in your system, you can buy splitter cables which convert a single connector in to two connectors.

Hi, thanks for your answer. It is a modular PSU. PC Cases come with wires in them for example, starting up the computer. The power button connects to the motherboard, however I don't have this wire. I have seen on YouTube that I have to get a screwdriver and touch the power pins. I don't want to do this every time I want to turn it on. Is there anywhere I can buy these cables or do I have to buy a PC case and strip it of it's cables and plug them into the desk?
