I want to upgrade my old pc (desktop;2008 model) and would like to add more ram, get a new processor etc. The motherboard is Foxconn n12325 and 1 gb ram. (ddr2) i saw that one more free slot is there for ram. Please tell me, how do i find out which ram is compatible with my motherboard? Also can I add a 1 GB graphic card to my pc? Thank you.

On what? The ram? I get 4 GB ram for Rs. 2050 (32.31 USD). How can I find out if it is compatible with my motherboard??

i meant on the whole pc.
i searched in google, didn't turn up anything on the motherboard. is your pc a prebuilt one? may be the pc model name and number will help finding a memory support list.

you need to find a memory support list for your motherboard in order to figure out if the new ram would run or not. you can also borrow a module of the same spec as the one you want and try running it on your pc.

nope not a prebuilt one. How do i find out the memory support list? i bought it from a shop where it was assembled, so it is not a prebuilt one. Some Circle case, foxconn motherboard, seagate barracuda 80 GB hard drive and Intel Pentium @3.00 GHz processor. Oh and 128 MB integrated graphics.
