Hello,
I am studying game design and my current laptop isn't good enough for some tasks. I am looking to buy a new PC/workstation but just got confused while reading which GPU is better for one or the other task..
I will be mainly working with 3D modelling programs like 3Ds Max/Mudbox/Blender and game engines like Unity.
(Also would like to use for some gaming).
I don't want to spend a lot of money on a new PC, so cheaper suggestions would be cool. The orientation price of GPU is smth like GTX 970. If you suggested also other PC parts I'd be truly thankful! My price range is <1000$.

Thanks for your time for reading my post and especially if you'll answer! Appreciate it!
