Do I need to install Intel AHCI/RAID drivers?

Hi!

I want to do a clean-slate windows installation via "Remove everything and reinstall Windows" tool (I have Windows 8.1)

I haven't done it yet, at the moment I'm trying to figure out what drivers to install.

I have a support dvd for my motherboard (Asus) and its menu has a tab called "Drivers". You can choose what specific drivers to install or you can press a button called Asus InstAll and then choose an option: install all the drivers listed in this tab automatically (including Google Chrome and Norton Antivirus Software lol), install just drivers, or choose what drivers to install (in a separate window).

Well, it seems pretty easy to use, but the thing is, on the menu of the disk there's also a tab called "AHCI/RAID Driver" (it's separate from the "Drivers" tab). When I open it I see a button that says "Intel AHCI/RAID Driver Path". When I press it, a windows explorer window comes up and shows me some files (which I've read somewhere should be installed manually using device manager).

My current system was installed by guys at the store where I bought my computer, so were all the drivers. And now I don't know, should I install this Intel AHCI/RAID driver among others or not.

I have an SSD for Windows 8.1 and programs and an HDD as a personal files storage, games and stuff.

As an additional information: I have Intel Rapid Storage Technology installed in my system. Also in my BIOS -> PCH Storage Configuration Sata mode is set to AHCI, and on the main screen of BIOS it says that Intel Rapid Technology is set to off.
