usb 3.0 wireless adapter running in 2.0 mode

I have a AWUS036AC plugged into a usb 3.0 port. When I look at usbtreeview it shows that it's running in highspeed 2.0 mode. All of my drivers are up to date as well. Can you guys help me run my wireless adapter in usb 3.0 superspeed mode?

if it an intel mb..see if it has intel and asmedai usb ports. if it has both make sure you have the intel chipset drivers and the newest intel usb 3.0 drivers installed and the newest asmedia drivers. also check to see that you have the newest mb bios file. to make sure it has the newest hardware info .on the mb make sure your in the blue ports...the blak are the older usb 2.0 ports.
