I overclocked GTX 980 Ti +400mhz on memory, +170mhz on core and 110 power limit and after 1 hour of playing witcher 3 suddenly blue dots on screen and the game just freezes and i have have to hard reset the pc. What does blue dots mean basically? can it be unSTABLE OVERCLOCK?

Solution
Not hurting anything. You can go as high as software can go. Temperature would be something to monitor. Artifacts is a most likely case when ur memory is oced too high. Have you tested this overclock for stability first ? Like 10 runs of heaven or maybe even furmark
