specs:
-Huawei hg556a
-ISP:Vodafone
-Mobo: AsRock H61M
-OS: Windows 7 Professional
-Cable 15 m CAT 5E (RJ45)

I've been having this problem for a few days now and I've been searching everywhere for answers.
Here is whats happening: Lets say I'm using my computer for like an hour with no issue whatsoever, but suddenly I start getting "hic ups" in my connection these hic-ups (by hic-ups i mean no connection) don't last longer than 3 secs and it (as far as i know ,completely random) varies a lot ,I can have hic-ups for like 10 minutes and later have no problem at all or have hic-ups for like an hour. It's really annoying specially when I'm playing games.

The rest of computers in my house work fine (they are connected via cable too) and I switched the port where my cable is connected in the router with another one.

These were my attempts to fix it

-Change cable with a new one
-Reinstall MOBO LAN driver
-As I mentioned before, switch router port
-Change IP from Dynamic to Static

I used CMD "ping google.com -t"
and I got the normal answer like
"Reply from 216.58.211.238: bytes=32 time=21ms TTL=56"
but when a hic-up appears it says:
"Request Timed Out" and right after that it says
"General Failure"
and with this message appear the internet conection status icon (the one with the little scrren and a cable) has an red X on it and around 2 secons later it reconnects with no problem whatsoever and later after that it may work fine for the rest of the day or keeps going on and on (but never stays disconnected)

Now this is the weird part, my router is in the dining room and my pc is in my bedroom (about 12 meters apart) but i decided to move the pc to my dining room and i the problem dissapeared, the pc stayed there for almost a week using it for about 4 hours everyday and 0 problems. I'm really puzzled by this issue im starting to think that it could be some sort of interference from the stereo system (its right next to my pc) any advice would be greatly appreciated and I apologize for my "engrish".

Hello ptech and thank you for responding

I doubt the router is faulty, as i said before the other computers are connected to same the router and they have zero problems, mine as well if I put it in the dinning room (room where the router is)
