How can I be completely sure that my motherboards support SATA-3 (SATA600) drives before I purchase SSDs?

My desktop PC ASRock Z68 Pro3 (latest BIOS) (the manufacturer claims the support of SATA600 - on their website, also "SATA 3" is physically printed on the motherboard)
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z68%20Pro3/

My laptop MSI CX640DX (HM65)

I ran Sandra Lite.

According to the report,

my PC has 2 controllers: 4 SATA300 ports and 2 SATA300 ports
my laptop has 1 controller with 2 SATA ports: SATA300 and SATA150

If I were to trust the software neither of my computers can fully utilize SATA600 drives. I haven't checked out BIOS settings on either.
