Unstriping two software-striped hard drives (Windows 7)

I need to separate two hard drives (1TB each) that are software striped. How can I do so in Windows 7? I'm trying to use Acronis True Image to make an image of the drives, format them, and then stick the image on one drive. Will this work?

i have a feeling you are going to end up with a 2 TB image file, try to shrink the the partition to less than 1 TB. create an image of that 1 TB partition and you should be able to deploy the image to 1 TB drive. you may have to use third party tools to shrink the partition.
