Wondering about part compatibility

Assuming you are not planning for high overclocking (since you get Cooler Master 212 Hyper EVO, which is not beefy enough for high-end overclocking), i wouldn't get such expensive motherboard, it's just an overkill.

Take a look, Tom's Best Motherboards : http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-intel-amd-motherboard,3902.html
Also, did you consider i7 5820k? Way better value for the money.
Better PSU for less : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220gs1050v1 which will provide you some headroom, in case you do plan to SLI.

The Asus Rampage V Extreme's memory Qualified Vendor List (PDF) doesn't list the G.Skill Ripjaws 4 at DDR4-3400, but does include the G.Skill Ripjaws 4 at DDR4-2133 (PC4-17000).

Given the Rampage V Extreme's lists only up to overclocking memory speeds up to 3300 MHz (motherboard specifications) I wouldn't expect to be able to run at 3400 (or even 3300 MHz) with any degree of certainty.

That said, the actual performance different between that and say 2800 MHz which is a likely target is minuscule in reality (I would guess it may be ~1-2% or less in many benchmarks).
