Haier has has several models and of different sizes with different Android Firmware installed on them, you can try these one should work.
I. Volume Up + Home + Power,
II. Home + Power,
III. Volume Up + Volume Down + Power,
IV. Volume Up + Camera,
V. Volume Up + Volume Down + Power.
Make sure the device is near fully charged, sometimes when the unit is dead it will appear to be bricked and need a few hours to even reach 15% capacity.

Is there a small hole on the bottom of the Tablet or back? Sometimes they have Reset labeled on them. Haier doesn't actually make Tablets these are made for them by a company called MID which also make Panasonic, Polaroid, Double Power and many other off name cheap units.
Hold the Power button down then use a Paperclip to poke in a hit the Reset button, you will have to play around with which one to release first as it changes on Models. When and if you manage to get into recovery you will poke the rest button to move through the menu and power button to accept the option, this also might change as MID is unpredictable.

There is a hole, most probably meant for reset, beside the power button on the top. However,
Does this reset the CMOS as well (Please refer to my question link at the bottom)?
Does this work without the recovery partition (i deleted that for precious SSD space)?
