Why do you want a Windows 7 driver when your Windows version is XP? (Windows 7 drivers won't work on Windows XP).

It sounds like you may have downloaded the Windows 7 driver from Geforce instead of the XP driver.
Go to the Geforce website and download the Geforce GT210 driver for Windows XP:
http://www.geforce.com/drivers

I know they have a Windows XP driver for the GT210 because I just checked,

For 32-bit XP: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/77225

For 64-bit XP: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/77226
