What solutions are there for wireless sound/mic for talking to people away from the computer?

I have a small house and I like the idea of being able to walk to my kitchen (10 feet away from my computer) or go to the bedroom or something like that and still be able to talk to my friends on skype/teamspeak. I have a headset I like which is Steel series v2 and I tried the logitech g930's and I sent them back because the sound on them sounded terrible to be honest. I only tried them because they were wireless and they did reach to all corners of my house which was amazing but I couldn't justify spending 90$ just for wireless. My main question here is what are my options for slightly cheaper solutions to a wireless way to speak to my friends (and hear them of course) while walking around my house?

EDIT: If it's worth mentioning I am open to all options. It could be a headset or some bluetooth option or something like that. I just really don't want to miss out the planning for a raid or something like that while going to grab a bottle of water.

I have the G930 headset and yes, the default settings are awful for the sound. That's why you HAVE to properly set the EQ. You said you wanted a cheaper option but you have to understand that cheap price sometimes means cheaper sound. I think you should have just kept your Logitech headset.
