Suddenly, without reason (at least I didnt do anything myself) when I was playing a game of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, my mouse died and I had to restart the PC to get it to work.
After the restarting it my keyboard began to turn on/off. After a while it stayed on, and today (the next day) everything works except for my headset. I tried the windows "search for problems" thing and it says that an "USB 2.0 cant be plugged in a USB 3.0 port" or the other way. That just isnt true, cause I've been using this for months. Can anyone please help? EDIT: I forgot to mention that the USB for the razer kraken got INCREDIBLY hot.

It sounds like the keyboard shorted out and potentially damaged the USB controller on your motherboard.

I had a mouse a long time ago with a short where it enters the device. The cable got hot enough to burn me but it didn't hurt the motherboard.

I would tell you to try it in another PC but if there is a short in the keyboard or cable, there is a chance it could damage the other PC as well.
