I have been in the market to buy some new ram cards. I am looking to upgrade my current 4gb total to 8gb total. My system consists of a Asus P7H55 motherboard along with an Intel Core i3 540 cpu(I know, not the best. But only play 1-2 pc games, so not worth it financially to get a new one).

My current cards are http://www.memorybenchmark.net/ram.php?ram=Corsair+CM3X2G1600C9NX+2GB&id=835 2gb X2 (could only find a benchmark site and not a actual buy post)

So far, I've gotten 2 cards on newegg and have had to send both back because once I put them in, they wouldn't load past the Asus screen. They would one at a time, but I would get the BSOD. I spoke to G.Skill on the phone and he was telling me that older cpu's like I have tend to work better with double sided cards (meaning the chips were on both sides of the card instead of the one like I bought). I told him I think my old cards are only single sided, but after I looked I noticed that they are indeed double sided as well. So maybe there is some truth to that.

Here are the cards I had gotten that didn't work incase you need a reference.

Basically what I need help with is finding cards that will work on my system and they need to be at least 8gb total. Thanks to any help I receive.
