Hi All ,
I purchased a Acer Aspire 4750 Laptop from SE Asia.
It had been pre loaded but after a while it went wrong the bootmgr appeared with a black screen.

A few months back i did a reinstall with and ISO Image once installation was complete it said it was a copy of Windows 7 and i had to input key number but i couldn't find one .There was No key number on Laptop and nothing when i used the jellybean utility also used utilities to extract original Key number.... going deep into the system there was no number. It must of been a fake windows 7 installation when i bought it .As they set it all up at the time in Thailand.

So i purchased a OEM for 1 user only which could only be used on my PC Laptop and installed it with the Key number so all is Genuine Windows now.
Now i have a Caution issue with ChystalDiskinfo from testing the Hard Drive reallocated sector 6 count and current pending sector count 8 .So i would like to to get a replacement Hard Drive before it fails.
Would i encounter any problems by installing a New Hard Drive and then installing the OEM Windows 7 ? would the key still be valid to successfully activate OEM Windows 7 ?
Is There anything i seem to be over looking in doing this ,do i need anything else ie Repair Disk?

I would be very grateful from anyone's experienced opinion on how to proceed .
Thanks

You should not have any problems. You are allowed a certain number of rë-installs due to hardware changes before any further validation by Phone would be required. Disk repair utilities could be needed if you have trouble backing up any data you wish to save and migrate to your new disk.
