What power supply do i need to get for this gpu i have 450watt ps but i dont think it is enough.

The Radeon R7 250X draws up to 80 Watts.

For a system using a single Radeon R7 250X graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 400 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 22 Amps or greater and have at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector. (Minimum system power requirement based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2GHz 130 Watt TDP processor.)

You dont need to buy a 1000w psu to run this card even 450watt will be enough. Can you tell me what psu you have? Anyway i recommend you Corsair vs550 it will do the work and it will last for long. With vs550 you are able to run gtx 980 and the latest amd gpus

i can turn it on but when windows loads where i have to enter my password screen have weird lines all over it you can barely see anything.
